What is Wellness?

Welcome to Vora Wellness page. I am Pooja Vora and I am on a mission to help people live healthy and holistic life through a combination of physical, nutritional and spiritual well-being.
Lot of people relate health with only a few aspects – for example dieting or going to gym. According to World Health Organization, health is “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely absence of disease or infirmity.” Wellness is about balance between these.
In 2017, I started my fitness journey and by end of the year, I had lost 12 kg through a combination of diet management and workout. This transformation inspired me to learn the science behind wellness and I enrolled for a certification course in food and nutrition. At the same time, I experimented with different forms of work outs, meditation practices, deep breathing and mindful living.
While my journey towards complete wellness continues, I have learned some important lessons along the way, which I intend to share here. I hope you will join me along this journey of mindful living.
